Fabric Fabulousness

You may remember that I was asking for your advice on fabric choices for my poodle chairs a while back.

I held a vote in fact, and this deliciousness from domesticate won out...

As you can see, this brilliance has already been plastered on some furniture, thanks to the fabulous   Jamie from Furbish...that bench is SO meant for my house...anyone have $1800 they want to donate to my cause?

I kid.

Anyhoo...as much as I clearly ADORE this fabric, I've decided against it for my chairs...can't tell you why yet but let's just say that I have bigger plans for said pink palms...and these plans might or might no involve walls....whipers/secrets;)

So...I need a new plan.

And I think I have it.

The other day, while flipping through the newest issue of Traditional Home, I spied photos from the 2011 Hampton Designer Show Home.

The master bedroom, designed by Hickory Chair's creative director Ron Fiore, made my heart skip a beat...can you spy why?

If you guessed fabric, you're RIGHT!

First up, I love the pastel stripe...gorge.

But...what really has got me all hot and sweaty is the amazeballs abstract watercolour like divinity, that's on the wing chair.

After some research, I found out that it's called Soo Locks and is made by Beacon Hill.

Apparently the chair is in the Frost colourway, though there are two I like...

...top one is smoke and the bottom is frost.

The chair looks to me like a morph between the two but it just goes to show you how different colourways can look on a screen...same goes for the pink palms...much warmer in real life.

Anyhoo...I am pretty sure this HAS to happen on the poodles...I'm kind of obsessed with how soft the palate is but looooooveee the weirdo pattern- kind of reminds me of a more girly version of KW's Edo linen, which I also want to make out with.

And speaking of things I want to love up, Soo Locks is totes going to work along side this gorgeousity...

...H to the heaven.

Can't bleeping wait to see the two all married up in my abode.

Don't forget to click HERE for your chance to win a little Jessica Rae Sommer pretty of your own.

Quite sure every house/apartment/condo/dwelling would look better with Ms. Lavender Heat in it.
