I'm waking up this morning after spending last night at two fabulous events, which means this pregnant lady is 'T' to the 'I' to the 'red'..but...it was worth it...for one, I met and chatted with this guy...
...that's my back and yes, that's Mr Novogratz...I was a total star struck geek but him and Courtney were soooo lovely...they didn't even look at me like I had 9 heads when I basically admitted I was obsessed with their whole family and would happily stalk them for a payless job if I lived in NYC...I might have scared them a little I supposed but whateves...oh and they're now are the proud owners of a B&B business card...count me pretty delighted on that front...maybe they're even reading this post...likely not but one can dream right;)
Anyhoo...it was a large treat to meet them and I can't wait to delve into my signed copy of Home By Novogratz...
...PS, don't you think the fact that they chose to cover their new book in pink means that we're totes the offspring of the same design mother?
I do;)
What else...oh yes...my happiness continued last evening when I opened the CB2/Style at Home (co-hosts of the Novogratz event...PS on that one, LOVE the new Novogratz line for CB2...the white faux leather dining chairs are divine...I'm working on a secret project and I'm thinking one of them will be puuuuurfect for it...more details on that front next week) swag bag and saw the new November issued of my favourite magazine...my 2nd article is out y'all...
...which you know, makes me happier than a copper with a big fat jelly donut..
And speaking of good things, I capped off the evening at the grand opening of the FLOR store here in Toronto with some of my favourite lady friends...
...always SO fun to see these girls...also, I might need some FLOR tiles in my house...that secret project I was talking about may or may not involve carpet of the pink variety...shhhhhhh.
