Happy Friday MTG peeps,
If, like us, you don't have the cash to be at gamer Nirvana at PAX East in Boston this weekend, make certain to get to your local gaming store / card shop and get some Friday Night Magic. We'll be at our local store OMG! Games here in Barrie, Ontario (where Winter storms continue to rage despite being informed that it's officially Spring), to try out a fun little home-brew build we've assembled.
Writer Dan Tack (currently writing for Forbes) has been an early bird snapping pics and posting to Twitter for MTG fans. Let's have a look at two new cards we may expect -
~
Shadowborn Apostle, b
Creature-Human Cleric, Common
A deck can have any number of cards named Shadowborn Apostle.
b, sacrifice six creatures named Shadowborn Apostle: Search your library for a demon creature and put it onto the battlefield.
1/1
This looks fun. We know it's a trap to play in constructed, but we still want a few games with this build.
~
Staff of the Wild Magus, 3
Artifact, Uncommon
Whenever you cast a green spell or a Forest enters the battlefield under your control you may gain 1 life.
We have a suspicion here that we may finally see a change to the core set 'Lucky Charms' cycle.

In addition to the Shadowborn Demon card previewed, in yesterday's article, we think all is well in our n3rd gamer world.
