Happy Wednesday MTG peeps,
Welcome to Day 3 of official Dragon's Maze previews. Today, the mothersite provided an interesting creature cycle, the Rakdos Champion and latter via Reddit, the Orzhov Champion. If you are a fan of EDH / Commander this new Magic: the Gathering set should be of particular interest to you with all the Legendary creatures running the maze. We're planing to pre-order the entire cycle at MTG Mint Card latter. Make sure you check back latter and we suspect there may another card preview latter on in the day which we'll get posted here. Exava here take's the Rakdos 'Unleash' tech to a new level. Dropping a Rakdos Cackler on turn one was never a bad thing but latter game, the little Devil who could could be a titch lame - not anymore though. We're already thinking about how we can use Mikaeus, the Lunarch, Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, Gavony Township or Innistrad's Undying mechanic for profit here.

Not quite what players were expecting here and the biggest complaint is the mana cost - seven mana seems a bit steep. We do like the vig and pro-creature ability. Spriti token gen is solid too as well as her power / toughness. We will likely consider this for EDH / Commander and not likely as the general either.

Here's a mtg-jp preview featuring an uncommon 'Fuse' card. First, we've just gotta say that we are loving the awesome / hilarious fuse card names - Bravo Wizards! We have no doubt that this will make a mark in multiple formats and may even go as far as win a few matches.

We have in Dragon's Maze a Champion cycle, land cycles, and here is a full color cycle of common creatures that care about how many Gates a player may have. Each costs four mana, is a 2/4 and has a 'EotB' effect which may be of interest to players looking for blink targets (Cloudshift, Resto Angel, etc.). Overall we would be rather happy to see this in limited.
