If You Want It, Black Rooster It #16

Apologies for the late post....this morning was spent working on this sort of thing...

...with my uber talented (and very patient;) architect.

I have to say, talking #projectdreamhouse (which PS, is about to get re-named thanks to some upcoming joint blogging action- stay tuned:) has turned into my most favourite thing to do these days.

We'll see if I still feel the same once budgets/funding etc. have to get hammered out...for now, and while we're still in the dream-up/anything is possible phase, all is super duper fun times.

Anyhoo...our meeting went longer than anticipated so this post is a wee bit tardy.

I hope to  make up or it with some gorgeous brand spanking new product goodness, otherwise known as...

For today, I decided to pull some of my absolute favourite new pieces from the shop that are totally on my wish list for the new house...these pieces all speak to the look I'm so hoping to achieve in the dream abode...a little edgy glamour if you will.

Starting on the left, and mirrored on the right, I simply must  must own the pair of
black/white abstract paintings- lurv them.  Similarly, the chalk white sconces are at the very topsies of my new house wish list- think they'd be brilliant in a dining room, alongside more modern seating...say like the black leather chair that's reminiscent of the original Platner yumminess....or the black/white arm chair on the bottom left.  Of course, we could flip things around and do a more modern table with a traditional chair...the grey linen high back numbers would be perfect in this scenario.  And since we're talking chairs, the brass and black leather occasional beauties are just too too good- would happily take a pair of those lovelies to sit across from the desk in the office.  The brass and wood stools would also be a very delightful addition to my new place- thinking 3/4 alongside my new kitchen island.  As for large seating, that grey maison sofa is just too damn pretty- wold be gorgeous in my master bedroom retreat...the
black lacquered dresser would be super duper in this room as well.  Hoping around a bit, one of my absolute favourite pieces is the quirky white console table- I'm so in love with the pretty weirdness of it. Similarly, the opulent shell mirrors would add a perfect bit of ladylike glamour to say a bathroom...one that was otherwise modern and clean lined that is.  What else...the clear tulip side table is sort of a no
brainer...could put that anywhere...same goes for the paperclip gold one.  The
large brass stump table, while not as versatile as the other two tables, would definitely be a show stopper - thinking the family/play room for that guy.  And finally, I'd love to finish things off with the playful raven catch-all and retro wall pod...they're just fun pieces that would totally add that little bit of whimsy to a space.

So yes...once again, Black Rooster Decor proves that they have just about everything needed to make a room, or indeed a whole house, a total winner winner chicken dinner

Happy weekend love nuts.
