Welcome to yet another MTG Tuesday Tumblr post were we collect the latest 'n' greatest posts from our sister site, MTG Realm on Tumblr. Expect a lot of Magic: the Gathering miscellanea, as well as news / rumors (especially those concerning the next set Theros. In other news, one MTG Realm member (R.Stomp) is should be receiving an order of singles from MTG Mint Card shortly and claims to have a kick-butt deck idea but won't elaborate - more on that perhaps latter.

The Buy A Box Promo for Theros is ‘SYLVAN CARYATID’
The first 20 (for Core locations) or 30 (for Advanced locations) people that preorder or purchase a Magic: The Gathering Theros booster box at your local retail store, will get an Alternative Art Sylvan Caryatid promo card.
Booster box promo cards (or Buy-a-box promos) are cards given away for purchasing a booster box at certain local stores. They are foil cards with alternate art, and bear the five mana symbols arranged in a circle as a watermark.
SPECULATION - Caryatid is the name given to an architectural column which takes the form of a standing female figure. Perhaps an artifact which animates, or produces mana similar to Birds of Paradise.

M14’s new Young Pyromancer seems just too good to be ignored. Here’s a rough deck idea we are now considering - rew / white tokens. Red and white human tokens, red & white soldier tokens perhaps with Assemble the Legion or Blaze Commando, the elemental tokens from Young Pyromancer, and red goblin tokens.
Some anthem effects could include Intangible Virtue, Legion’s Initiative and Ogre Battledriver for pump and haste. We’ll investigate this further. Anyone out in Tublr-Land consider building something similar?
